Where's my item?
Your item should arrive within one to two weeks of payment, most often sooner. Money orders will take longer because we need to wait for them to arrive and clear. However, there is always the possibility of delay or loss in the postal system, but we maintain confirmation numbers on all shipments - if your item takes an abnormally long time to arrive, contact us at [email protected] so we can look into the situation. If the package is lost by the postal system we will arrange a reshipment or refund.

Do you accept Google Checkout?
No, we do not. Google Checkout does not allow many chemical supplies, including magnesium because it classifies them as hazardous materials. And indeed, you need to be careful with all our products. However, for payment, please use Paypal which accepts major credit cards, or send a money order.

My magnesium won't light!
You can light our ribbons of magnesium with most standard lighters. However, it may take a while to light this way, and if your lighter isn't hot enough, it might not light. Keep it under the flame to warm it up, and make sure you're using the top of the inner (blue) flame of your lighter where the temperature is highest.
If it still won't light, it may have accumulated a layer of oxide. Try breaking off the oxidized section, lighting the other end of the ribbon, or shaving off the exterior of the ribbon.
